Dr. Samina Qureshi, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, completed her internal medicine residency at Lutheran General Hospital in Parkridge, IL. She earned her medical degree from the University of Toronto, Canada, where she also completed a Master of Science in Pharmacology and published research on alcoholic liver disease. Dr. Qureshi has taught pharmacology at the University of Toronto and mentored students at the University of Illinois in Chicago and Nova University in South Florida. Before joining our center in 2024, Dr. Qureshi maintained a private internal medicine practice in South Florida together with her husband since 1984, providing comprehensive care. She also has served on the medical staff of North Broward Medical Center, Imperial Point Medical Center, and Broward General Hospital. Passionate about caregiving, she believes in listening to patients to address their concerns and improve health outcomes in older adults through individualized attention. Dr. Qureshi chose a medical career out of a passion for helping others and serving her community. She has volunteered for local health initiatives and enjoys traveling and making memories with her family.
