Dr. Sandhya Menon has joined Conviva as a board-certified internal medicine specialist. Dr. Menon completed her internal medicine residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center, following an internship at UAB in Birmingham. She earned her medical degree from Bharati Vidyapeeth's Medical College, Pune University in India. Her vast research has included a study on 'Acute Chest Syndrome in Sickle Cell Disease' in the Postgraduate Medical Journal and presentations such as 'Atrial Fibrillation & Atrial Flutter' at Orlando Regional Medical Center's Internal Medicine Department.Before joining Conviva in 2023, Dr. Menon practiced internal medicine with RevaMed Associates in Lake Worth and RMA Medical Center in West Palm Beach. She was the medical director of Century 21 Medical Center in WPB for three years. Earlier, she was a house officer in the ICU, ER, pediatrics, OB/GYN, surgery, and internal medicine departments of Princess Margaret Hospital in Nassau, Bahamas.About working with older adults, she asserts, 'Seniors hold a special place in my heart. They consistentlyappreciate my time with them and generously share wisdom from their lifetime journeys.' She believes listening is pivotal in improving patients' health and quality of life, aligning seamlessly with Conviva's values.Dr. Menon chose medicine driven to help others and serve her community. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and volunteering.
