Santhini Namagiri, M.D., received internal medicine board certification in 2016 and was geriatric medicine board certified in 2017. Dr. Namagiri performed a geriatrics fellowship at NYU Langone, in New York, NY, from July 2016 to June 2017. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in the Bronx, NY, from July 2013 to June 2016. She earned her medical degree from Rangaraya Medical College in Kakinada, India, in 2007. From September 2017 to December 2020, Dr. Namagiri worked as an attending physician at the New York Jewish Home. Her teaching experience includes mentoring graduate students, residents, and post-doctoral fellows in research, mentoring geriatrics fellows at the New Jewish during their sub-acute rehab rotation, teaching geriatrics fellows and medical students on their rotation at the nursing home, and participating in journal clubs and grand round presentations. Dr. Namagiri was honored with an award from the Metropolitan Area Geriatrics Society (MAGS) for the best paper presentation on Diabetes in the Elderly in 2017.
