Santo Cravotta, APRN, is a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner with board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, AANP. He specializes in internal medicine and has extensive experience and training in pain management. Mr. Cravotta completed a residency in multiple hospitals and outpatient clinics in the Tampa area, including Tampa General Hospital, University Community Hospital (AdventHealth Tampa), Bayfront Walk-in Clinics, Palm River Endocrinology, Sandals Primary Health Care Center, and the Hillsborough County Jail System. He graduated from the accelerated program for nurse practitioners at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, with a Master of Science in Nursing. For his thesis, he presented research on the effects of Animal Assistant Therapy on postoperative nausea and vomiting. He has expertise in joint injections, trigger point injections, and numerous peripheral nerve blocks, including carpal tunnel injections. Mr. Cravotta is a 3rd Degree Black Belt Taekwondo, not currently practicing. He competed in the 2000 Olympic Trials Quarter Finals.
