Dr. Serge Junior Thys joined CenterWell as a board-certified family medicine specialist. Dr. Thys completed his family medicine residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences-Northwest in 2015. He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Florida Atlantic University. Dr. Thys has presented on topics such as COPD, Recurrent Ventricular Fibrillation, and Hepatorenal Syndrome. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Thys worked as an attending family medicine physician with FoundCare in Palm Springs, Florida, and earlier, in urgent care at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. His passion for exercise and brain and heart health aligns with his affinity for seniors. He believes in treating patients with the same dedication he would invest in his loved ones, aligning perfectly with CenterWell's compassionate values. Dr. Thys chose medicine to make a difference in people's lives. His commitment to patient care is underscored by his volunteer work with the Gaskov Clerge Foundation Medical Mission in Haiti. He enjoys spending time with his family and reading.
