Shannon Milam, AGPCNP, ARNP, a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner, earned her Master of Science from Florida Atlantic University (FAU). Her accolades include Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing induction. Ms. Milam participated in the FAU Guatemala Study Abroad NP Program in 2015. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from FAU and holds an Associate of Arts from Palm Beach Community College in Lake Worth, Florida. Before joining Conviva in 2023, Ms. Milam provided primary care with the Prettelt Center for Family Health in Loxahatchee Groves, Florida. Ms. Milam's nursing journey began as an RN at Jupiter Outpatient Surgery Center and later in Jupiter Medical Center's Intensive Care Unit. Passionate about her work with older adults, she emphasizes the importance of listening to enhance patients' health and quality of life, reflecting Conviva's values. Ms. Milam's career choice reflects a commitment to positively impact people's lives by prioritizing health. When she's not at work, Ms. Milam enjoys the outdoors, quality time with family, and exploring new destinations through travel.
