Mrs. Shawn Brown, MSN, AGPCNP-BC, is an Adult-Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of healthcare experience in primary care, hospice, care management, and leadership. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and has dedicated much of her career to caring for older adults in clinical, hospice, and community settings. Mrs. Brown provided primary care, palliative care, chronic disease management, and care coordination while also leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring healthcare professionals. She served in leadership, education, and management roles, including Adjunct Professor and Regional Manager of Clinical Services, where she supported staff development and quality improvement initiatives. Passionate about heart health, nutrition, and caregiving, Mrs. Brown believes in providing the same level of care she would want for her own loved ones and empowering patients to make healthier choices that improve their quality of life. Outside of work, Mrs. Brown enjoys worshiping and praising at church, performing music, listening to music, and spending time with her family.
