Dr. Sheela Dwivedi joined CenterWell as a fellowship-trained, board-certified family medicine and geriatrics specialist. Dr. Dwivedi completed her geriatrics fellowship at Temple University Hospital in 2013, following a family medicine residency at Latrobe Area Hospital. She earned her medical degree from Ross University in 2009. Her research has focused on vitamin D awareness in seniors and addressing smoking cessation. She has received the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Resident Teacher Award, the Mrs. Ann Underwood Award, and the Paul C. Eiseman, Jr. Award. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Dwivedi saw patients with Penn Medicine, and Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Her passion for caregiving resonates perfectly with her work with older adult patients. Dr. Dwivedi embraces a culture of caring, emphasizing the values that CenterWell holds dear. Dr. Dwivedi chose medicine driven by a lifelong passion for helping others and serving her community. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Geriatrics Society. Outside of her work, she enjoys the outdoors, listening to music, and reading books.
