Suzanne Korum, APRN- BC, has joined Conviva as a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse. Ms. Korum earned her Master of Science in Primary Care Nursing from the University of Tampa in 2013. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Barry University in Miami, Florida, in 1999 and her Associate of Science Nursing from Broward Community College in Fort Lauderdale, FL, in 1987. Before joining Conviva in 2023, Ms. Korum worked as an advanced practice registered nurse at the Ibrahim Heart Clinic in Jacksonville, FL, focusing on cardiac consultations and follow-ups in acute rehab and long-term care settings and previously with UnitedHealth HouseCalls, conducting annual clinical assessments in members' homes. Her diverse background includes roles at Palm Coast Family Practice and Walk-in Clinic, South Palm Medical Associates, and positions within HCA hospitals, where she gained expertise in quality coordination, risk management, and administrative nursing supervision. In tandem with her affinity for working with older adults, she is passionate about heart health, obesity, and nutrition. She believes taking the time to listen to her patients can help improve their health and quality of life, a philosophy reflecting Conviva's compassionate approach to care. Ms. Korum chose healthcare to make a difference in people's lives by prioritizing their health. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time outdoors.
