Tady Isabel Garcia earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Alabama, following her MSN as Family Nurse Practitioner at the FIU Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Science. Prior studies are BSN and ASN from Miami-Dade College Medical Campus. Ms. Garcia worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Hoover Family Practice/Wellness Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse she worked at Cleveland Clinic of Florida, Palmetto General Hospital, and Memorial Health Systems, in multiple areas and specialties. She also did Home Health and was a DON in one of the agencies that she worked with. She is passionate about wellbeing, nutrition, addressing obesity, diabetes, and heart health. She believes actively listening to patients is critical to improving their health and quality of life. She currently holds multiple licenses and certifications. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, creating new family memories, cooking, and outdoor adventures.
