Mrs. Twyla Carley, MSN, APRN, FNP, specializes in family medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from South University. Mrs. Carley brought extensive experience providing primary care to adult and senior patients, managing chronic and complex conditions including diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, COPD, and asthma. Her background also included experience in correctional healthcare, medical-surgical nursing, telemetry, and perioperative care. She developed individualized treatment plans, coordinated care across multidisciplinary teams, and emphasized preventive medicine, chronic care management, and patient education. Mrs. Carley believes in empowering patients, care teams, and herself through accurate information and continual learning. She entered healthcare because of her passion for helping others and serving her community and is especially passionate about diabetes, heart health, and exercise. She is a professional member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Outside of work, she participates in weightlifting competitions, volunteers through church outreach activities, and enjoys gardening.
