Dr. Vrajesh Shah, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, completed his residency at the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn & Queens, New York, in 1991. Dr. Shah earned his medical degree from Jagadguru Jayadeva Murugarajendra Medical College in Karnataka, India, in 1984 and his undergraduate degree from RPTP Science College in 1978. Before joining our center in 2024, Dr. Shah practiced internal medicine as a WellMed clinical physician, serving as lead physician of the Land O'Lakes Clinic in Land O'Lakes, Florida. He previously maintained a private practice, Vrajesh Shah M.D., PA, in Lutz, FL, for over 25 years. Dr. Shah has also served as a lead physician and medical director in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, delivering compassionate care to older adults. His expertise lies in managing chronic conditions like diabetes and heart disease, with a focus on seniors. He believes in truly listening to his patients to prioritize their health and improve their quality of life. Dr. Shah chose medicine committed to enhancing seniors' care and is passionate about safeguarding their well-being. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and reading.
