William Quintero Perez, MD, specializes in family and primary care medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Pinar del Río Faculty of Medical Sciences in Cuba and completed his internship at Metropolitan Hospital San Germán in Puerto Rico, where he served as Chief Medical Intern. Dr. Quintero Perez provided primary care, preventive medicine, chronic disease management, emergency medicine, and HIV care in diverse healthcare settings. His experience included managing patients with diabetes, HIV, hepatitis C, and other complex conditions while emphasizing education, prevention, and healthy habits. He also served as an associate professor at the University of Medical Sciences in Cuba, teaching medical, nursing, and dental students and mentoring graduate trainees. Dr. Quintero Perez believes in caring for people regardless of age or circumstances and entered healthcare because of his passion for helping others and serving his community. He is especially passionate about diabetes, nutrition, and obesity management. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, volunteering, and traveling.
