Xavier Yanez, MSN, ARNP, joined Conviva as a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Mr. Yanez earned his Master of Science in Nursing, Family ARNP, from Florida International University (FIU) and also trained in the ER Fast Track at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and RN degrees from FIU, as well. Mr. Yanez is a Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing inductee and a Daisy Award recipient. He completed clinical hours with MCCI Clinic in Hialeah, Metcare in Plantation, and Pediatric Associates in Cooper City, Florida. Before joining Conviva in 2022, Mr. Yanez was a nurse practitioner with Amicus Medical Centers. His experience as a nurse practitioner also includes IMC Health in Hollywood, FL, and Conviva-Continucare in Sunrise, FL. From 2012 to 2016, he worked at Baptist Hospital of Miami as an RN in the neurosurgery OR, performing surgical scrub nurse duties while ensuring patient safety through close surveillance. His compassion for seniors resonates with Conviva's values. Mr. Yanez enjoys educating and coaching nursing staff on best practices. He is a runner and a self-proclaimed music fanatic.
