Mr. Yandris Ignacio Sanchez Rodriguez, DNP, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, specializes in family medicine. He earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice from South University and previously completed a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration at Miami Regional University. Mr. Sanchez Rodriguez brought extensive experience providing primary care to adults and older adults, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, patient education, and helping seniors maintain their independence and quality of life. His background included family medicine, urgent care, hospice and palliative care, nursing leadership, and clinical operations. He also served as a nursing faculty member and clinical preceptor for undergraduate and graduate nursing students, helping educate and mentor future healthcare professionals. Mr. Sanchez Rodriguez believes that taking the time to listen to patients is key to improving their quality of life and health. He entered healthcare because of his passion for helping others and serving his community and is especially passionate about heart health, diabetes, and obesity prevention. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and enjoying the outdoors.
