Yeritza Rojas, MSN, APRN, A-GNP-C, is an Advance Practice Registered Nurse and foreign-educated physician with certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, ACLS, and Basic Life Support, BLS. At Conviva Hypoluxo, she provides compassionate, patient-focused primary care with a dedication to medical excellence.
Dr. Rojas completed the Foreign Educated Professional to Master of Science in Nursing, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, FEP to MSN program, A-GNP, at Florida International University in Miami, Florida, August 2017 to August 2020, Dean’s List 2017 to 2019. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida International University in Miami, Florida, in July 2019, graduating magna cum laude, Dean’s List 2017 to 2019. In the decade before moving to the United States, she earned a Doctor in Medicine degree from the Universidad Libre in Barranquilla, Colombia, from August 1996 to September 2002, and served as an internist and emergency room physician until 2003.
In Florida, Dr. Rojas has offered her time and expertise in volunteer efforts in the community assisting OB/ GYN and orthopedic doctors in providing care for low-income patients at the Caridad Clinic in Boynton Beach. She has also worked collaboratively with primary care providers assessing and caring for diverse patients at the Mission Clinic of Palm Springs in Palm Springs, Florida, as a volunteer as well. Dr. Rojas is a member of the American Nurses Association and the Florida Nurses Association.
She is a dynamic speaker, able to translate technical information into easily understood language for audiences of diverse backgrounds.
