Andrei Sfintescu, D.O., is a family medicine primary care doctor. He holds certifications in advanced cardiovascular life support, basic life support, pediatric advanced life support, neonatal resuscitation, and NIH stroke. At Conviva Care Center West Boca Raton, he leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused primary care professionals with a commitment to medical excellence. Dr. Sfintescu completed a family medicine residency at United Memorial Medical Center (UMMC) in Batavia, New York, and was recognized as Family Medicine Resident Chief from 2015 to 2017. He also served an internship in family medicine at UMMC. He earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. As an undergraduate, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in chemistry from Barry University in Miami, Florida. He also pursued studies at the University at Buffalo and Erie Community College. His distinctions include Leader for General Inorganic Chemistry 2 at Barry University. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association. Before joining Conviva in 2022, Dr. Sfintescu practiced telemedicine with West County Health Centers Mindful Specialty Associates Same Day Clinic in Sonoma County, California, and saw patients as the partner and owner of Orchard Park Family Practice in Orchard Park, New York. His clinical experience includes volunteering at the Millard Fillmore Hospital Stroke Center in Williamsville, New York, and the Veterans Hospital Neurology Clinic in Buffalo, New York. He has also volunteered with the Marine Animal Rescue, Pals for Paws, the Tonawanda ASPCA, and the Western New York Salvation Army.
