Jenny Chamblain, M.D., is board certified in Family Practice. At Conviva Care Center East Plantation, she leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused primary care professionals with a commitment to medical excellence. Dr. Chamblain completed a residency in family medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University, Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia. She earned her medical degree from St. Georges University School of Medicine in True Blue, Grenada, W.I. She obtained her bachelors degree in microbiology and immunology from McGill University in Quebec, Canada. Her publications include What is an appropriate time interval for repeating DXA Scans? accepted in the Family Medicine Resource Library and presented at the Virginia Academy of Family Physicians Wintergreen Family Medicine Weekend. Dr. Chamblain practiced family medicine at Bay Area Medical in St. Petersburg, Florida, from 2009 to 2015. She then saw patients at Amicus Medical Centers until joining Conviva in 2022. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Bay Area Medical Association, former Chairperson of the membership committee. She has been honored with Vitals Patients Choice Award (2018, 2015, 2014), On-Time Doctor Award (2018, 2015), and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2018). Dr. Chamblain has given back to the community by volunteering with the St. Georges University Health Fair in Grenada, as a physician assistant; Arthur Murray Dance School in Montreal, Canada, as a teaching assistant; the Special Olympics of Quebec, Canada, swimming coach; and Montreal General Hospital, recreational therapist. She enjoys educating patients and making healthcare available to all cultures, including minorities and travelers.
