Dr. Jerry D. Ramos is a general practitioner. Dr. Ramos earned his medical degree from the San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Caguas, PR. He completed a rotational internship at Alejandro Buitrago Hospital, Puerto Rico Department of Health in Guayama, PR. He received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Puerto Rico (UPR). His teaching appointments have included attending physician, Santa Rosa Internship Program, and attending physician Cristo Redentor Medical Internship Program. Dr. Ramos saw patients with PHCA Medical Group. He was previously the president of Essential Medicine, Inc. and concurrently an emergency room physician with HIMA San Pablo Hospital in Fajardo, PR. He directed UPR Medical Services in Humacao, PR, and maintained a private practice in Guayama, PR. With an affinity for older adults and a passion for addressing diabetes, brain health, and obesity, Dr. Ramos believes listening is vital in enhancing his patients' well-being. He has volunteered in disaster relief efforts, including assisting during the Haiti Earthquake emergency in 2010. In his free time, he enjoys creating family memories, sailing, mountain biking, and reading.
