Jessica Hood, PA-C, is a physician assistant in Dunedin, Florida, board-certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in 2016. She holds advanced cardiovascular life support, ACLS, basic life support, BLS, and American Heart Association CPR/AED certifications. Mrs. Hood performed clinical rotations in family medicine, internal medicine, women's health, pediatrics, general surgery, plastic surgery, geriatrics, behavioral health, and emergency medicine. She earned a master's degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 2015. As an undergraduate, she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology focused on pre-health studies, graduating cum laude from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, in 2010. Her activities and societies included the American Medical Student Association, the Alpha Epsilon Delta health pre-professional organization, and the Sigma Kappa Sorority. Before joining Conviva, Mrs. Hood practiced as a Physician Assistant with Rajani Medical Group, LLC. She enjoys spending time with her family and biking.
