Dr. Manal El-Hag is a family medicine specialist. Dr. El-Hag completed her family medicine residency at the University of Central Florida/HCA Healthcare, Ocala Regional Medical Center, in Ocala, Florida, in 2023. She earned her medical degree from the University of Pécs Medical School in Pécs, Hungary, in 2015. She contributed to research in 2022 as part of the UCF/HCA Healthcare GME Consortium, focusing on a Quality Improvement (QI) project that examined the use of spirometry in screening for COPD. Dr. El-Hag worked as a resident physician at Ocala Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Florida, and served clinical externships in family medicine, internal medicine, and geriatrics. She has volunteered in initiatives like the Comprehensive Diabetes Foundation in the Dominican Republic, focused on chronic disease prevention in impoverished areas, and Migration Aid, raising funds and offering medical assistance during the European migration crisis in Budapest. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking, swimming, yoga, and cooking.
