Dr. Mary Hurd Quinones joined CenterWell as a board-certified internal medicine specialist and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Hurd Quinones completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Florida (UF) in 1999. She earned her medical degree from Michigan State University, following a B.A. in Biology from Rollins College. An assistant professor of medicine at UF for almost a decade, her accolades include the College of Medicine Exemplary Teacher Award. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Hurd Quinones practiced internal medicine at SIMEDHealth since 2008 and, earlier, was medical director of UF Shands Executive Health Center and with Ayers. Serving as a physician champion for cardiovascular disease best practices, her passion for heart health, caregiving, and addressing diabetes enhances her work with seniors. Treating her patients with the same dedication as those closest to her, she shares CenterWell's compassionate values. Dr. Hurd Quinones chose medicine to make a difference in people's lives, prioritizing their health. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her two miniature poodles and playing pickleball.
