She completed both her internship and residency in Family Medicine at the UMDNJ in Stratford, NJ. Dr. Sapida was honored for excellence in family medicine with the Alan Gartzman, D.O., Memorial award in 2009. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and a diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Sapida has been recognized through the NCQAs Diabetes Recognition Program (DRP). Clinicians who achieve DRP Recognition show their peers, patients, and others in the Diabetes community that they are part of an elite group that is publicly recognized for its skill in providing the highest-level diabetes care. She is active in weightlifting and interested in health and fitness.
