Salvador Molina, D.O., is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, ABIM. At Conviva Care Center Vista Del Sol, he leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused primary care professionals with a commitment to medical excellence. Dr. Molina completed an internship and internal medicine residency at Texas Tech University Healthcare Center in Lubbock, Texas. He earned his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in pre-med and microbiology at the University of Texas at El Paso. His affiliations have included the Hospitals of Providence East Campus-Tenet Healthcare, the Hospitals of Providence Sierra Campus-Tenet Healthcare, and William Beaumont Army Medical Center. Dr. Molina practiced internal medicine with the Centro San Vicente Primary Care Clinic in El Paso, Texas, from 2020 until joining Conviva in 2022. From 2019 to 2020, he served as an internal medicine physician with the El Paso Veterans Administration Health Care System in El Paso, Texas. From 2006 to 2019, he served as a hospitalist with Sound Physicians for all Tenet facilities and Kindred LTAC. He supported mentorship and education, initiated Mobile Doc Services to include home visit protocols, and sat on the committee to develop hospital insulin protocols. He has seen patients at the Family Health Center Primary Care Clinic in El Paso, Texas, and served as an internal medicine physician and medical director of the El Paso State Supported Living Center, where he implemented emergency rapid response education for staff and improved treatment plans.
