Samantha Hughes, ARNP, is board-certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. At Conviva Care Center East Port Orange, she provides compassionate, patient-focused primary care with a dedication to medical excellence, committed to exceptional community service and patient care. She has held positions as a Nurse Practitioner in a wide range of clinical rotations, including women’s health, cardiology, family health, and dermatology, as well as pediatrics. Ms. Hughes earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri, in August 2016. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, Texas, June 2013, and studies at the Emergency Services Leadership Institute, Florida Fire Chiefs Association in Daytona Beach, Florida, 2010 to 2011. Her Advanced & Specialized Skills and Certifications include Registered Nurse, HIV/AlDS Education Course, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Ms. Hughes served as Assistant Chief of Emergency Medical Services of the Deltona Fire Department in Deltona, Florida, from October 2002 to September 2011, responsible for the management and oversight of all emergency medical services functions within the fire department.
