Soett Ramirez-Estrada, M.D., MPA, is board-certified in Family Medicine. At Conviva Care Center Star Centre, she leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused health care professionals with a dedication to medical excellence. She completed the Family Medicine Residency Training Program at South Nassau Community Hospital in Oceanside, New York, and served as chief resident of the family medicine residency from 2010 to 2011. She earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, West Indies, from 2002 to 2007. As an undergraduate, Dr. Ramirez-Estrada received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York at New Paltz in New Paltz, New York, 1990 to 1994, and completed pre-med requirements at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York, 1994 to 1995 She obtained a Master’s in Public Administration with a dual concentration in Health Administration and Finance from New York University Robert F. Wagner School of Public Administration in New York City. Dr. Ramirez-Estrada is bilingual in Spanish and English in all forms of disclosure, attributed to secondary education and bicultural rearing, a multi-cultural awareness acquired through personal, educational, and professional experience.
