Dr. Soneath Lang Hang Pond joined Conviva as a board-certified internal medicine specialist. Dr. Pond completed his internal medicine residency at Roger Williams Hospital in Providence, RI. He served as an attending physician with the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Roger Williams Hospital, Providence Community Health Center, and Calmet Hospital in Cambodia. He has taught on the faculty of Brown University Warren Alpert Medical School since 2019. Dr. Pond earned his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, W.I. He obtained his B.A. in Chemistry from Colby College. Before joining Conviva in 2022, Dr. Pond practiced with Thundermist Health Centers and Centers of New England, RI, for four years and was an ER physician at VAMC. With a deep regard for seniors, he maintained a private practice in Providence, RI, for seven years and was a House Officer at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital for three years. Dr. Pond is the President Emeritus of CPP, a Cambodian political party in Rhode Island, and President Emeritus of Project AIDS Khmer, a non-profit organization based in Rhode Island to help Cambodians with AIDS. In his free time, he enjoys golf.
