Dr. Waleed Abdelall, MD, is an internal medicine physician specializing in geriatric medicine with more than a decade of clinical experience caring for older adults. He earned his MBChB degree from Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt, and completed advanced training in geriatric medicine at Beaumont Hospital. Throughout his career, Dr. Abdelall provided inpatient, outpatient, home-based, and long-term care services, focusing on chronic disease management, dementia care, advance care planning, polypharmacy, and transitions of care. He also served in leadership roles, including Site Chief of Geriatrics Extended Care at the Central Texas VA, where he helped improve care delivery for vulnerable older adults. In addition, he mentored residents and medical students and served as clinical faculty and Assistant Professor, supporting the development of future healthcare professionals. Dr. Abdelall believes in empowering patients and care teams through education, partnership, and continual learning. Passionate about geriatric disorders and helping seniors maintain their dignity and quality of life, he strives to provide compassionate, patient-centered care that aligns with each individual's goals. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, volunteering, and exploring the outdoors.
