Yvette Alvarez, D.O., is board-certified in family medicine and is eager to use her medical knowledge and skills to help those in the Coastal Bend area. She leads a team of health care professionals to provide compassionate, patient-centered care with a dedication to medical excellence at Conviva Rockport. Dr. Alvarez completed a residency in the Family Medicine Program at Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, AAFP, the American Medical Association, AMA, and the Texas Medical Association, TMA. Dr. Alvarez earned her medical degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi. A native of South Texas, Dr. Alvarez is married and has two children. She enjoys spending time with her family, camping, hiking, crafting, and reading.
