Robert Ramirez, M.D., is board-certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine. At Conviva Care Center New Braunfels, he leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused primary care professionals with a commitment to medical excellence. He completed an internal medicine residency at Seton Healthcare Network, Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas, and was recognized as an Outstanding Resident in Hematology/Oncology. Dr. Ramirez earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. As an undergraduate, he was a National Hispanic Scholar Award Recipient and obtained an A.B. in biology, cum laude, from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was a preceptor of internal medicine affiliated with the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Before joining Conviva in 2022, he practiced internal medicine in San Antonio, Texas, for 20 years. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, Bexar County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, and American Medical Association. His vast list of volunteer activities includes San Antonio West Side Sol Newspaper Medical Columnist, volunteer sports physicals, and Medical Correspondent, KTSA and KCDC Radio. He was honored with the Archdiocese of San Antonio Federation of Catholic Parent Teacher Clubs Leadership Service Award. Dr. Ramirez enjoys spending time with his wife and family, classical music, playing piano, golf, and science fiction films.
