David Felker, M.D., FACP leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused primary care professionals with a continued commitment to medical excellence. Dr. Felker is board-certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP). Dr. Felker’s medical training includes a fellowship in allergy and clinical immunology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. He completed a medical internship and internal medicine residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Florida. He earned his medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in the Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, appearing on the Dean’s List. Dr. Felker is affiliated with Bethesda Memorial Hospitals in Boynton Beach, Florida. He has received awards from Care Plus Health Plans, Humana Health Plans, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida. His articles have been published in peer-reviewed medical journals, including Bone Marrow Transplantation and The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. He has presented abstracts to the American College of Physicians and has delivered approximately 150 presentations at local and regional conferences. Dr. Felker maintained a continuous private medical practice from 2000 until joining Conviva in 2022 and has served as an officer on various medical advisory boards. To give back to the community, he is active with the Boynton Beach Masonic Lodge, and has supported the Boynton Beach Senior Softball League and the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County Maimonides Society. He enjoys reading both medical journals and non-medical books in philosophy, science fiction and American and Masonic history. He earned a 2nd degree black belt studying martial arts for over 10 years, but now enjoys swimming, walking and resistance training. He loves music and plays piano; enjoys travel and cruising, strategy games and collecting American coins of the 19th and 20th centuries.
