Elizabeth Layokun, APRN, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, AANP, specializing in internal medicine and cardiology. At Conviva, she provides compassionate, patient-focused primary care with a commitment to medical excellence. Mrs. Layokun earned her Master of Science in Nursing with Academic Excellence from South University in Tampa, Florida. As an undergraduate, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. Mrs. Layokun's professional affiliations include the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Tampa Bay Advanced Practice Nurses Council. Her accolades include induction into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Phi Kappa Chapter, and CDI Physician of the Month, along with multiple Nurse of the Year and Daisy awards for her superb patient care. Before joining Conviva, Ms. Layokun practiced at Bay Area Medical Clinic in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. She speaks English and Yoruba and enjoys spending time with her husband and children, as well as dancing, reading, swimming, and traveling.
