Laurencin Esau, M.D., is a general practice physician licensed by the Florida Department of Health Board of Medicine in 2015. At Conviva Care Center Gateway, he leads a team of compassionate professionals who provide patient-focused care with a dedication to medical excellence. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at the Hospital Metropolitano in Yauco, Puerto Rico, in 2013. He earned his Medical Doctor degree from St. Matthews University School of Medicine in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, in 2005. He received an MBA in Health Care Management from the University of Phoenix in Orlando, Florida in 2009 and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida in 2000. Dr. Esau is a member of the Florida Medical Association, 2018, the Northeast Florida Medical Society, Inc., 2017-present, the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry, 2016, and the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), 2012. He has given back of his time on a Medical Mission trip and as a volunteer health fair presenter. Dr. Esau likes to read, sing, play guitar, golf. Speaks English, Creole, French, Spanish and basic sign language.
