Dr. Vianka Legra Delgado joined Conviva as a board-certified internal medicine specialist. Dr. Delgado completed her internal medicine residency at Stroger Hospital of Cook County and Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. She earned her medical degree from the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cuba, and completed an internship at Calixto Garcia General Hospital. Her research has included the most frequent causes of UTI at Freyre Andrade General Hospital, where she obtained various awards. Dr. Delgado moved to the U.S. in 2000 and, after her residencies, joined Rush University Associates in Chicago and served as an assistant professor and associate attending physician at Rush University Medical Center. She has provided healthcare to the underserved, predominantly Hispanic population at Logan Square Health Center and organized Spanish language community events on women's health. Before joining Conviva in 2022, Dr. Delgado was the owner of Palmas Clinic in Tampa, FL, and also cared for older adults with JSA City Center. Dr. Delgado has volunteered with the Cancer Society of the Bahamas. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, volleyball, and quality time with her family.
